Mornington Crescent
Does anyone reading this happen to play the greatest of all games – Mornington Crescent? If not, you probably don’t want to read on.
If you do, please indulge me with a game, using the comments below. We’ll play using the Queensbury rules (1972 Duchess of Kent additions apply), any Pimlico related move will trump, and Tower Bridge is wild.
My first move – Tottenham Court Road

Ho, underhanded! Leaves me with no choice but to call Holborn. I'll leave the choice of Central vs Picadilly up to the next player.Jon Hicks said 1928 days ago:
Aahh, but I can invoke Crabbits rule here to avoid Central and Picadilly! Although it does force a backstep to Goodge St.Glad there's still some moves coming...

I didn't see that coming! That leaves Coddie with all 4 diagonals closed.I'm moving on to Pimlico, allowing another move to Angel!

Jon Hicks said 1861 days ago:
Thats closed off all but one diagonal, but unders Crabbits Law, you have to miss a turn.So... Hanger Lane.

Cockfostersthat should cover my Rear approaches! and as you know trying a Mornington Crescent from this position will leave you in 'Nip' for 3 turns.
Jon Hicks said 1849 days ago:
Ouch! That was a deliberate shunt, not the kind of play you see in polite society.Thats me below the diagonal now, so I'll have to..
