Wow! Color me shocked when I saw SF59 show up my news reader. I haven’t listened to them in something like ten years, but I liked what I heard at the time. I’m a big fan of Joy Electric (Jason Martin’s brother, Ronnie, if you hadn’t heard of it), and it never ceases to amaze how similar, yet different, their two styles are. It’s incredible how far they’ve come since the days of Dance House Children.

As a long time Starflyer 59 fan, I’m wondering what you think of the album art. Personally, I think this is one of the weaker designs.

Actually, I rather liked this cover design, but it’s not my favourite – that’s “Talking Voice”.
Worst one? “Easy Come Easy Go’!

Feeling similar to Marty above. I thought I was alone in my love for Starflyer. Stoked about the new album. Thanks for the headsup, Mr. Hicks.

Great news!
@Greg: “one of the weaker designs”?
I love this design. It looks like an old lithograph; pulled it off nicely. Compared to others like “I am the Portuguese Blues” and “Everybody Makes Mistakes”, it’s awesome.
I will have o say that Everybody Makes Mistakes is my favorite release to date. Which one was recorded in MONO? That was horrible IMHO.
Cheers!

I assume you have their latest collaboration, The Brother Martin. One of those songs was in the pilot episode of Chuck.
