OS X Browsers news feed

To avoid alienating too many readers with my OS X browser talk I’ve added an extra sidenotes type section to the journal, with it’s own RSS Feed. Here is where I will now post all information about new browser releases, themes and such like. (I’m loving this Textpattern ‘set it up in 10 seconds mullarkey!). This is a trial run – lets see if I can keep it updated, and if anyone’s interested!

Thats right! Us poor PC users don’t want you Mac-ish people rubbing it into faces all the time that you’re better than we are! :P

Kidding actually, those posts didn’t bother me at all and I’m on a PC (firefox .09). Kinda interesting actually.

Well, given that I’ll be laying my hands on my first Apple (17” 1GHz Powerbook) tomorrow, I shall subscribe to this new feed asap.

Also, now that you are delving into TXP ‘mullarkey’, I am waiting to see even cooler TXP stuff around these parts. The TXP logo was that ‘something’ which won me over about a month ago when a gazillion CMSs were vying for my close attention.

I like the idea Jon but will it mean less frequent posts on your main journal? If so I say keep it with the rest of your posts. Plus it’s one more feed i’ve gotta keep track of.

TXP huh. I’m using wordpress and am very happy with it but since you’ve been talking about TextPattern you’ve got me rethinking my cms. Can you do a detailed write-up up on TXP? (Just a thought.)

No, it’ll just mean that the main blog and sidenotes will be kept clear of 90% of the browser related posts. It also gives me the opportunity to post more about browser related stuff, in its own little area.

I’m writing a lot of Textpattern related articles. There’s a lot of stuff I’ve learnt over the last few weeks!

Hey Jon, that sounds good. I’ll stay tuned for more browser related stuff then. :)

Also, I’m looking forward to seeing reading TextPattern related articles you mentioned. Your enthusiasm has really peaked my intrest.
