Biro sketch of Lauzerte

23 Aug 2018

I just found this sketch of the rolling fields near Lauzerte, France in a sketchbook from 2016. I love the graphic shapes that fields, trees and hedgerows make, so I tend to have a lot of these kind of sketches.

While sketching in biro means mistakes are permanent, I like how it feels on the paper. Its an instant bold line that doesn’t smudge or become uniform grey over time like pencil sketches.
